She didn’t understand that Llama was gone for good. Her mom had tried to explain what death was, but Faith just didn’t understand why Llama wouldn’t come back. Desperate for anything to fix it, she ended up stealing her dad’s pocket watch and turning the time backwards in a futile attempt to travel back and save Llama from that stupid car.
After waiting for what seemed like forever, Faith finally realized that nothing was going to change. The watch was thrown at the wall as she burst into tears.
