It’s not like Chloe hadn’t given Kenneth some chances to make it better. Daddy always said that you had to give people a few chances before you punish them, because it made you look like the better person. (Daddy also said that you had to make sure you won if somebody pushed you too far. Otherwise, you’d come out looking like as useless as a chocolate teapot, whatever that meant.)
So, when Kenneth called her daddies that mean ‘F’ word for the third time, Chloe made sure to hit him in the face with a rock before she tackled him.
